John Van Eps


John Van Eps is a distinguished producer, composer and engineer and has recieved an M.M. in Percussion Performance from New Eng. Conservatory.


John has studied with Vic Firth, Gary Burton, David Samuels, Tony Ames on Percussion,  Thomas McKinley, Patrick Hollenbeck for Composition.


Credits include, Themes for CBS: "US Open Tennis", "Olympics" and "Image". arranged the CBS NFL Football Theme.


John has also composed music for many movies including "Nightmare on Elm Street 3", "Making Mr. Right", "Penn and Teller Get Killed" and "Identity Crisis" for Melvin Van Peebles.


John wrote the musical score for Columbia TriStar's "Buster and Chauncey's Silent Night" and the independent film "Under Hellgate Bridge". Also wrote the score for the documentary,  "War Made Easy “starring Sean Penn.


Arranged and Produced 3 of Robert Lamm's (Chicago) solo albums, "In My Head", "My Neighborhood", and "The Bossa Project".


Co-produced Kids CD, "Twin Spin". 2011 released Exitos, for chicago records, hits by the seminal Rock group Chicago as performed by some of the worlds greatest Salsa Musicians.


Written Songs for numerous Feature Films,including "So Whats The Game" for the 20th Century Fox Release From Justin To Kelly.


Has written thousands of commercial scores including Chevy, Ford, Xerox, AT&T, Advil, Visa, Tyco, Fisher Price, Jell-O, McDonalds and Campbell's.


Remixed/Mashed up 10 of Chicagos greatest hits in his critically acclaimed "JVE REMIX "


John is currently teaching at Deerfield Academy, working on Music for Spirit Music Group, Producing The French Rock Star, "Chardeau" and is in Production with solo albums for Roger Daltry, and Robert Lamm.
